Call for Solidarity – Humanitarian Project in Mauritania
Dear friends and generous donors,
May peace and blessings be upon you. We are sending you this message to request your support for a vital humanitarian project launched by our association Aziza Cœur Saint, based in Nogent-sur-Marne, France, in partnership with Assistance Enfance Déshéritée in Mauritania.
We aim to build a shelter and training center for abandoned women and children, orphans, babies, elderly people, and persons with disabilities, providing them a safe, dignified, and structured place to rebuild their lives and regain hope.
Context
Mauritania is one of the poorest countries in the world. Many families live in very difficult conditions. Children are sometimes abandoned, vulnerable women risk exploitation or prostitution, and young people have no opportunities to build their future.
Your help will radically change these lives.
Beneficiaries
The project targets 700 beneficiaries per year, distributed as follows:
Children: 0 to 18 years old
Abandoned and vulnerable women
Elderly people
Persons with disabilities
Each child will receive:
Food: €50 per month
Clothing: €25 per month
Health care: €20 per month
Each adult beneficiary will also receive care adapted to their needs.
Facilities and Equipment
Total project area: 1000 m² (main center + Aziza Market Solidaire)
Main Center (600 m², ground floor and 1st floor, construction duration: 12 months)
Bedrooms and dormitories: beds, mattresses, wardrobes, bedding
Offices and meeting rooms: tables, chairs, computers, administrative equipment
Training rooms: tables, chairs, teaching materials, computers
Solidarity health center: beds, medical equipment, basic medicines
Solidarity canteen: fridges, tables, chairs, kitchen equipment
Nursery for abandoned babies: cradles, baby beds, toys
Generator for energy autonomy
Aziza Market Solidaire (400 m², separate plot, estimated cost: €150,000)
Solidarity supermarket with 50% discount for vulnerable families
Equipment: fridges, shelves, cash registers, storage materials
Local suppliers for food products
Transport and Interventions
4×4 for logistics and beneficiary follow-up
Ambulance to collect abandoned babies and for emergencies
Training and Activities
Professional training: sewing, embroidery, plumbing, electricity, IT, management, accounting, interior decoration.
Sports activities: karate, taekwondo, full-contact, boxing.
Educational and social support: tutoring, languages, employment guidance, psychological support.
Humanitarian distribution: food kits and medicines in remote villages.
Autonomy projects: support for women to become independent.

Transparency and Follow-up
All steps will be transparent, with documents, certificates, and agreements available for partners and the ministry. Donors will be able to follow the progress of the project and the use of funds, from the foundation to the handover of the keys.
