Bio – Origins and Values I am originally from Mauritania, from the village of Dafor, and I currently reside in France. My journey between Africa and Europe has strengthened my vision and commitment to helping the most vulnerable people. My personal story is also a profound reason for this commitment. I am an orphan of my mother. I lost my mother at the age of five and was abandoned by my father, who never supported me or did anything for me. I grew up in foster homes and with different families, experiencing very difficult times during my childhood. I grew up with many hardships, without proper guidance or education, and I experienced the suffering that many children face when left without support. These experiences have shaped my life and my determination to act for others. Today, when I see the situation of many families in Mauritania — a country where many people live in poverty and lack basic resources — I cannot remain indifferent. There are abandoned children, babies left without protection, widowed or abandoned women sometimes forced into exploitation to provide for their children, and young people risking their lives crossing the Mediterranean in search of a better future, despite a very high mortality rate. This is why I decided, with a local association in Mauritania engaged in supporting underprivileged children, to launch this humanitarian project through the association Aziza Cœur Saint. Our goal is clear: to protect, support, and give a second chance to the most vulnerable, particularly abandoned women, children, orphans, and highly vulnerable babies. My values are based on: - Solidarity - Human dignity - Transparency - Responsibility - Mutual aid and community development Through this project, we aim to build a shelter and training center in Nouakchott, Mauritania, which will provide care and support for the most vulnerable. The center will include: - Safe accommodation - Professional training programs - A community health center - A solidarity canteen - An educational and religious space for learning The objective is to change lives, protect women from exploitation and prostitution, support abandoned children, and provide young people with an alternative path so they can build a dignified future without risking their lives through irregular migration. This project is not only a humanitarian initiative; it is also a response to a reality I personally experienced and that I do not want other children and families to go through. We aim to build a solid, transparent, and sustainable project capable of having a real impact on society and bringing hope where it is most needed. Our commitment is clear: to work with honesty, transparency, and responsibility, ensuring that every contribution from donors is truly used to build this project and help those who need it most. This project represents hope, solidarity, and commitment to humanity.
