I am a college dropout, I have worked as a systems programmer for a health informatics company, and skilled up in Technical AI Alignment research thanks to a 2022 grant from Open Philanthropy. My background in AI started when I took Geoff Hinton's Coursera Course, and further developed when I re-took fast.ai courses every year since 2017. I am inspired by Chris Olah to work on mech-interp and develop my skills for learning about data using models.
Part Deontologist, part Virtue Ethicist, and part Utilitarian, I have had the opportunity to change my mind about EA in the past year or so.
